What to do next
- Change your email password. Your email is how you sign in to MayBirthday.
- On your new phone: install MayBirthday and sign in. It will ask to be approved.
- Approve it from the other parent's phone (Family → Devices), or use your Recovery Kit (it takes 72 hours, for your safety).
Found your phone again? Open MayBirthday on it and approve it the same way.
Locking only ever protects: it can't delete anything, and it can't let anyone in. You can only lock your own phones, never the other parent's.
Your photos are safe
Your photos are locked so only your family's phones can open them. We can't open them either. A stolen phone still needs your PIN or Face ID, and after 5 wrong PINs it locks itself.
